Humby Consulting offers advice and assistance in all aspects of the planning approval process.

Specialising in Adelaide and greater South Australia, Humby Consulting works with clients locally, interstate and internationally. The consultancy’s founding director, Andrew Humby, has over 20 years experience working for local South Australian councils, the state government and within the private sector as a manager and consultant.

Andrew’s extensive experience provides clients with the right expertise to assist with any new development or planning project.

Description
Humby Consulting obtained planning approval on the site of an existing State Heritage Place to enable Sagle Constructions to build this contemporary, three storey office building for Daronmont Technologies. The Australian Defence Industry company was seeking a contemporary, high-quality design that is both functional with a visually appealing streetscape.

Community Club Expansion – Murray Bridge

Description
This project involved transforming the Murray Bridge Community Club into a modern restaurant and café facility. The new look Community Club updated its overall appearance and expanded internal and external seating, to maximise its prominent location, overlooking the picturesque River Murray. Humby Consulting worked with clients to makeover the original rowing club and gain planning approval for a modern community café and restaurant.

Description
Humby Consulting worked with Sagle Constructions to gain planning approval for this single storey building to adjoin Marion Shopping Centre at Oaklands Park. This brand new development comprises two tenancies, on-site carparking, landscaping and signage.

Industrial Development - Edinburgh

Description
Humby Consulting worked with Sagle Constructions on this purpose-built facility for Transtainer. Transtainer is an Australian owned business that specialises in the fabrication, manufacture and marketing of Intermediate Bulk Containers, portable tanks and dispensing/metering solutions. The Light Industrial and Warehouse facility comprises a unique large floor plate, to accommodate the assembly and storage of Transtainer products.

Description
Humby Consulting assisted the Bird Group to gain planning approval for the construction of a single level KFC restaurant, 3-bay drive thru, on-site carparking and landscaping within the regional township of Naracoorte.

Middleton Rezoning

Description
Humby Consulting was engaged by Gums Adhi Pty Ltd to rezone land for 52 allotments in the picturesque township of Middleton. Humby Consulting was able to provide the latest advice with expert knowledge of South Australia’s recently released Code Amendment. This expertise will enable Gums Adhi Pty Ltd to easily expand and develop more low density residential allotments in the future.

Wallaroo Shores Estate

Description
Wallaroo Shores is a significant development located on the water’s edge at Wallaroo, South Australia. The residential estate is also home to a luxury resort, premium function centre and a proposed retail and lifestyle village. Humby Consulting was engaged by Monopoly Property Group to assist with all aspects of the master planned community. This included, preparation of Design Guidelines, Encumbrance Manager services, Development Applications and Land Division advice.
